The iOS App Switcher was in a serious need for a overhaul , and back in October , a Verger Forum member , @Sentry_NC wowed the members of the Verge forums by posting some serious mockups that reinvented the App Switcher .
The basic need was to use up the extra vertical space on the New iPhone 5 , and Auxo is just what we've wanted .
Honestly, there are very few things about jailbreaking that
would convince me to jailbreak
my phone and customize it.
This, however, is one of them. More than any other tweak before it, Auxo has me seriously considering a jailbreak.
In the below video , Jeff Benjamin takes an in-depth look at the tweak , showing the webOS like card interface . As for today , no jailbreak is available for the iPhone 5 , but it runs smoothly on iPhone 4 and 4S.
Well , speaking of the tweak , it looks fantastic offering app-switching , toggles for WiFi and Blutooth and even a revamped music player interface .
It's taken a couple of months , but with the help of great developes , JamieD360 and Jack Willis , Sentry concept is now very much a reality .
Here are a few shots grabbed from Dribbble ..
Sentry said to The Verge , that Auxo will be available in Cydia in the next few days . It works on iOS 6 but an iOS 5 tweak may also be released in the future .
