Apple maps better than Google maps in terms of Data

Apple has taken a lot of heat over the last few weeks for its poor performance . Apple maps are not so   accurate , but there's no denying that they are the most beautiful Maps ever made .

But in terms of data usage , Apple wins over Google . Apple Maps uses Vector maps , which means that zooming in or zooming out does eat up much of your data .
While Google uses Rasterize graphics which munches much more data than that of the latter , what google maps does is that each zooming in or zooming out needs to download a separate set of file ,thus increasing data consumption .

We found that apple used only 273 KB of data while google used over 1.2 MB , that's 80% more than those of apple .
