iDebStore Alpha Beta released today!

Remember about a week or two ago we made a report on an upcoming web based Cydia alternative iDebStore? Well I am happy to say that the Alpha Beta version of iDebStore has been released to the public. iDebStore boasts on their website that iDebStore is

Developer Friendly

Now let’s start with the positives, with my experience with iDebStore, I found the User Interface (UI) to be very nice and simple to use, much better than Cydia.This could help fresh jailbreakers that just jailbroke their devices. I also found that iDebStore pretty fast at installing tweaks and themes on my devices. Currently, iDebStore has about 15 packages at the moment, but it will improve as it moves on forward. Installing packages was very easy and yet again very fast. I really liked iDebStore and enjoyed doing it until I found out something crucial that is needed for iDebStore to run perfectly…

If you are going to request for a beta for iDebStore, I must recommend that you have at least two bars of WiFi whenever you are trying to install packages. I tried at least 15 times installing WinterBoard or MxTube on one bar of WiFi and it would not install at all. Another con with iDebStore is currently there is no way to manage packages, sources, or your memory on the devices. In other words, there is no way to add repos and no way to uninstall packages currently. The search bar also doesn’t seem to load and other buttons seemed not to work either, but I am positive that this wil be fixed in the next release of iDebStore.
